Executive Board (Amphictyony)
In the ancient world the 12 Greek clans united to form the Amphictyony to protect and administer the Delphic shrine, - a visible sign to end all hostilities and come together in peace.
In 2001, the members of the International Delphic Council decided to follow this model by calling their elected board (the Amphictyony). According to the historic precedent, the Amphictyony consists of up to twelve people and is elected at the members' general meeting (Session) for a term of appointment of two years. The office is honorary.
Responsibilities:
- Worldwide representation of the IDC and the complete responsibility
for the Council's activities
- To spread the Delphic movement internationally
- Financial security of the IDC head office
- International and national publicity work
- Maintain contact to international organisations such as UN, UNESCO, European bodies and governments

International acknowledged specialists are engaged to design and to realise the Delphic Idea. The Members of the Commissions are experts within their profession and do not have to be members of National Delphic Councils of the International Delphic Council.
